I think I should have asked if anyone applied at all, as this forum seems to be inactive. Anyway, two of my friends say that they received their decisions already, but they are internationals. Anyone else?

I am an intel and still havent heard from them.

nothing yet

I have jsut received my decision. I was waitlisted. they say that they have reviwed more than 5,000 applications and they should accept only 685 people :((. It's the toughest admission year for sure :(

How did they notify you? By email or by snail mail? I am perplexed by Gettysburg's decision to waitlist you. I think you had great chances stats-wise (you had perfect GPA and high SATs). How would you rate your essays? Did you have any unusual extracurriculars? Anyway, don't get discouraged, I am positive that you will get into a good college.

thanks dude,
they have notified me by snail mail.
As far as my essays are concerned I think they were okay, but one never knows :)
