Has anyone received RD admissions decisions?

How did you know $5000 - We just submitted FASFA a few days ago. No financial need but any merit based aid woul help.

The $5000 my D recieved was a merit scholarship. We haven't submitted Fafsa yet because we don't qualify for need, but the merit money is certainly welcome.
Inside D's admissions packet there was a letter informing her she qualified for $2500/semester as long as she maintained a certain GPA

You guys didn't submit the fafsa yet? I figured everyone would've done it sometime in february.

Anyway, got in today, complete with Pres. scholarship and some pretty awesome financial aid. Only 6K in loans, rest grants, makign here the front runner now.

My admissions packet also included the scholarship/fin aid info. We did submit FAFSA back in January but our EFC was so high we weren't expecting anything.

accepted, with $5000 talent scholarship. from NYC

in with a 15000!

i applied to the sunderman conservatory and they sent me a really nice letter welcoming me also...anyone else going for music?

My daughter got a wait list letter on Saturday and moved on. She will go to Loyola.

i am! voice performance or music ed with vocal concentration...haven't made up my mind yet. what about you?

I'm just bachelor of arts with piano concentration for now, but I"m really interested in music management and the industry side also...I'm from NY. You?

what date is the envolope postmarked? and it takes about 15 days to get here. so im worried. when will i hear?

saketm, try sending them an e-mail and request an e-mail decision. They might help you out.

also from NY! staten island, to be specific.

yes. i got waitlisted. i dont know what they were thinking when they did that. i have a good score and amazing reccs. awesome ecs and top 10% transcript. probably because im indian :( lol. or financial aid. but im disappointed.

Hi for those intels, do any of you guys get full aid from gettysburg? How many people receive such kind of aid from the school each year?

well, im an intel. and gettysburg was one of the colleges, i feel, waitlisted me because of aid. the other one was washington and lee. infact, washington and lee states on their financial aid form that if you apply for aid, your chances for admission are reduced.

i was real ****ed at these colleges. it is a pity that we live in a world where you are rejected admission for education because of your ability to pay.

so i would say that, for intels, aid is very low. unless you have a 2400 on your SAT and are a perfect student.

:))..thx for the info:)..I'm considering W&L also..I mean saying that you need 2400 and being a perfect student for gettysburg is abit too much rite? Its ranking is within the top 50 of LAC only what?..So which college are you in now?

exactly. theyre asking for too much. ofcourse both - gettysburg and W&L - are great colleges though.

i got into Wake Forest University with a big big scholarship. so im going to be going there now. btw, wake forest has no aid for intels.

haha, congrats:)..I checked out Wake Forest before too:)..Didn't really attract me as it did not offer aid:)..haha, seem like you have a lot of college in common with me:p

well, they dont have aid, but its an awesome school. also, they have a few big scholarships...

IM me if you need any help.. saketmunshaw@msn.com
