Looking at past years it seems like scholarship amounts are normally sent soon after acceptance but I still don’t see anything in myUCF. Just wondering if anyone has heard about scholarships yet.
I have not heard anything
nothing yet for my D
I checked my portal around 4 pm EST today and saw I was given the Pegasus Gold for Non-FL residents! I’m guessing it’s around $8k-10k annually?
Congrats @justinm112 !!! Where does it show up in the portal?
On the right side there was is a “To Do” section and it’s on there. Also it’s on the student center in the undergraduate admissions section.
@justinm112
Congratulations! Would you mind posting your stats for comparison purposes for others?
Pegasus Bronze
98.96 UW, 100.16 W. 1410 SAT. I’m not sure if the essay and extracurriculars are used for merit scholarship.
My son was awarded the Provost Scholarship, but we don’t know what that amounts to??
Just checked and I got the “Pegasus Silver for FL Resident”, but I’m not sure how much it’s worth.
D received the Knights Achievement Award, OOS. Anyone know how long it takes for the scholarship letters to be received? I can not remember from my older D how long it took before she received the letter.
My son checked his portal earlier today and he was awarded the Provost Award. I guess we wait for the snail mail to determine the amount and next steps.
Hi! We saw on our portal we got the Provost Award. In state. Honors college. Doesn’t say how much it is but researching it seems it is 30000 for 124 credits.
My portal shows I was awarded the Pegasus Bronze for Non FL resident. Frankly, I’m a bit shocked as my GPA and ACT were just below their average. I guess essays and extracurriculars also play a part which is great.
Update- I received my letter in the mail yesterday. I got the Pegasus Silver for FL Resident, worth $ ten thousand over four years
update: D received letter today indicating her OOS Knights Achievement Award is worth $42,000 over the course of 4 years ($5,125 per semester).
No letter yet so I don’t know the dollar amount, but daughter saw that she got Pegasus Gold for OOS.
SAT 1350
ACT 31
GPA - 3.82 unweighted, 4.69 weighted, and my best guess is a 4.3 weighted based on how UCF calculates it
@voyagermom I think that is a great idea to post stats with the scholarship so others can see what they might get.
