Now I’m starting to think I’ve never completed the steps to getting the loan and probably won’t get it at all.

Does anyone know where we go to check our loan status?

[Fees, Tuition, and Estimated Student Budget - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/prospect/budget.htm)

Tuition and SHIP should add up to about $11800

thank you livelovecheer!

No problem (:

The Financial Aid Office has still yet to give my disbursement. When I looked at my FA summary, it said I was supposed to get 15,000. I had to pay my balance for tuition already. Are they just running late or am is there something wrong? Also, if I do get it, are they giving back the money that I paid already?

Thanks in advance!

They should have automatically paid for your tuition two days (or 3 days) ago like they did with mine. If they are in fact running late and you paid yourself you should be getting your money back. Maybe call to make sure because it shouldn’t take this long

I chose for the funds to go to my parent instead of myself by mistake, does anyone know how I could have this switched? I’m not sure whether to call ucla or federal student aid.

Has anyone gotten a second eFan titled “Financial Aid Offer #2”? I got one on the 14th and includes the Blue and Gold opportunity grant unlike my initial offer.

Received finaid/refunds in my account this morning

@livelovecheer: I’m not sure if you can still do this, but what I did was send a fax and mailed a letter (same content, just wanted to cover all of my bases) to the UCLA Financial Aid office (phone number is somewhere on their website). They just needed a written statement asking that the loan be changed from “borrower refund” to “student refund”. I think if you do it now, they might be able to change it for future quarters, but I’m not sure. Definitely call the FAO before you send anything!

How do you know if you received it or not?
I just paid the amount due, cause i didn’t wanna get dropped.

will the money be refunded when i receive it…??
