If so, what was the date of your acceptance and the date you received the scholarship?

What scholarship? o.O

Any scholarships from UW.

So… It must be too early to be asking about scholarship notifications?

I know UW offers a handful of scholarships especially to those who applied by Dec 1, but I guess no has received any offers?? If you have, however, please list the name(s) of the scholarship(s) and your stats. If not, then do ignore. Thanks!

I’m hoping they haven’t done it yet. I’m an out of stater who applied by December 1st, and I would love to go, but I need a scholarship.

My D was informed 3 weeks back that she is awarded a 4 years full tuition waiver honor program. The condition is that she has to have 3.3 gpa and stick to the honor program.

We are kinda of torn bw 2 right now cos she was also awarded a seattle pacific scholar award and it is also a 4 years full tuition waiver as well.

She wants to do biology … any input anyone ?

Was she in state?

Wow! Congrats for your daughter! Would you mind telling us the stats she applied with?

It all depends on what your daughter wants. I personally would choose UW over Seattle pacific any day because UW is a great research university that is highly ranked in the medical field.

hougang: For Biology, definitely UW!! The university is well known for its science/medical field programs!

Thanks pumpkins and uw20106…i am very excited for her as well…

ACT 35… SAT 2340… GPA 3.995… National merit finalist… that’s all i am aware of…

:)

does anyone know if all honors students get full ride? sry i couldn’t make a new thread for some reason.

nope. I’m an honors student who has never been offered any sort of help

i didn’t apply for any scholarships
but i did apply for financial aid, which i received

No scholarship offers . . . They did send an e-mail to alert me of a scholarship for in-state CC transfers that I could apply for. But I would need two letters of recommendation, one from a teacher, and my CC teachers have all taken off for vacation.

I have received a financial aid (loans and grants) offer, though.
