Has anyone self-studied for the AP chem test

<p>i've taken chem H, and i've done reasonably well, BUT i can't take ap chem...bad teacher... no room in my schedule.</p>

<p>SO i was wondering if it would be advisable to self-study for the AP test...and get a 5?</p>

<p>definitely. i recommend the brown lemay bursten textbook, ap edition which has the course correlation with it, and the virtual lab. Also, it is good idea to have a mentor who can explain some of the more difficult concepts.</p>

<p>um, i didn’t get my scores back yet, but i <em>think</em> i might have gotten a 5. if not then a very high 4. </p>

<p>I didn’t use a textbook or study much. in fact i only did practice tests from 5 steps to a 5 and sucked in them. then i gave up =/</p>
