Has anyone still not received their acceptance package?

Nothing in… Canada.

Has anyone received it yet? What’s it like? I heard that there’s a magnet! What else is in it?

I still haven’t received mine either, and I’m here in Georgia. So I don’t know what’s up. It says they mailed it March 24th so it’s been a week. Dayuuumm

Still haven’t received my letter

:( still nothing in boston. i’m disappointed @ cmu!

I called earlier this week and they said it looked like mine was never mailed…I was told it would go out that day…ha ha ha…still waiting.

I want the package!

I live in PA and i still haven’t gotten my package.

@ CMUGUY,

Does your status have “Decision Notification”?
Mine looks like this, but I still haven’t received mine yet… (I live in Canada though, so I guess it takes longer to get here):

24-mar-2010 Decision Notification
31-mar-2010 Deposit Receipt

Still no letter ._.

VA and no package yet

The acceptance package is just a book about Pittsburgh/CMU. Everything in the book is on this website [Now That I’m Admitted](http://www.cmu.edu/ntia/main.html) .

i was accepted on 3/24 and it said the decisions letter went out then (i can accept if that’s delayed because of the post) but why did:
29-mar-2010 Admission Committee Commenced
show up on my record???..so they offered me admission and THEN are trying to determine if i’m a worthy candidate? i’m rather confused. is anyone else experiencing this? it doesnt seem to be a regional phenomenon either. i guess it’s true that decisions really do range from 3/15 - 4/15…11 more days for them to make an impression on me.

It has been over 10 days and still no sign of fat letter in the mail.

@ika I also got the admission committee commenced thing as well! Does this mean that I’m not accepted even though it clearly marks ACCEPT on decision?! This is freaking me out. BTW I’ve also not gotten the fat package

Finally got mine, it only took forever.

Got it today too. No financial aid info though.

Finally got my package. No FA info either.

call admissions…I think something went wrong because all of a sudden, a few days after calling, we got the priority mail fat package yesterday. FA was not in package but it will show up on web site.

We had no admissions id to log in with either…tried several times to get it via email but no luck (a week after we asked they replied, saying they needed a birthdate to match with the common app id, then a week later they said they needed to match it to the phone number on the application). We responded with all that, but still never heard from the admissions office and didn’t get anything in the mail or other delivery service. So much time had gone by that we figured either D had been rejected and we’d eventually find out about it or they’d lost her application or something and we’d simply never know.

But then yesterday, she got an email from the admissions office congratulating her on her acceptance. We’re a little skeptical. Did anybody else get this?

@fineartsmajormom: Do you mean the FA info will show up on the Where Am I in the Process site, or somewhere else? Still haven’t gotten anything by mail.

Yes…at least for S, when you scroll down below the school you are accepted to there is a long laundry list of documents and actions taken and then a shorter laundry list of financial aid documents. Somewhere before the lists start there will be a little place with a list of financial aid …at least the small loan program should be there since everyone is eligible for that. If you don’t have that, take a close list at the laundry list of fa documents. You have to have filled out the estimate with the federal form and the CMU form…it is ok to have the 1040 and the w-2 forms still blank but they will not give you fa information without the estimates and the CMU form. I recommend calling when you are at the computer and they can be very specific with you and tell you if you are missing something.
