I'm looking into it and I'm wondering if it's good?
Anyone have an opinion or can tell me about it?

I'm looking into it and I'm wondering if it's good?

I have a 1900, but I've been stuck on this number for a few months now, looking to aim in the 2100s.

I personally didn’t take the course, but I know many people who are either taking the course or have taken the course. I see mixed results; many of them on the negative end, actually. I am ambivalent about many SAT prep companies. For one, you can’t expect a same quality education from different places under the same name. Obviously, some places will have better tutors than other places. I suggest that you find out about the efficacy of your local C2 SAT prep course.

If I can change your mind about anything, I suggest that you don’t take any SAT classes. I have learned that many intelligent and motivated students can accomplish very impressive scores from self-studying. Only take the course if you cannot discipline yourself and dedicate some time daily. However, I can already see that you’re at least a bit motivated by your visit and your attempt to ask CC about SAT. CC can be a very great and helpful community if you make it so.

C2 is a waste of money. My friends and I took the summer boot camp course and it was pretty much useless! I improve my score from the 17’s to the 21’s just by using CC. Take my advice and just use collegeboard materials and learn your mistakes and youll get above a 2100

I have access to both the CB blue book (I already did 4 practice tests) and the CB SAT online course (I got it as a gift from my school). Do you guys think this is enough?
My key program is that my critical reading has been stuck in the 500s for about a year now. I just got direct hits and I’m going to work on my vocabulary. I’m looking into the prep course because it seemed legit and looked like it could help.

The prep course won’t do much good if you don’t put that much effort into it. And if you intend to put effort into studying, you might as well do it on your own without spending a considerable amount of money into a prep course that does not guarantee anything. As I have said, if you really want to take the course, I suggest that you ask around locally because the quality of tutors cannot be determined by the name “C2”.

I think the blue book and the online course are enough. Since your resources are limited, I suggest that you ration them reasonably. You can even try going through a test more than once(this will test how much you actually retained from your reviews). If I can leave a brief tip on studying, reviewing is far more important than actually going through the tests. You really can’t expect your score to increase if you don’t know what you’re doing wrong.

^^Thanks for your insight!^^
So does anyone else have an opinion?

I haven’t actually taken their course, but I looked at their website and it seems pretty good, but it seems like they ask a lot from you so if you’re at a 1900 and you’re aiming for a 2100 you may be able to do that with just more self studying and independent practicing.
