If so, what was your score? I've taken some practice questions and they don't seem as hard as the SAT questions. Barely studied today and plan on studying these last four days before the test. No school or anything. I just plan on taking practice test after practice test.

I plan on doing the same as you.

My friend who barely studied got a 35, and another a 33.

=

I barely studied both the first and second times I've taken the ACT. Got a 30 the first time and 33 the other.

i took a grand total of two practice tests for the act...one the day before each time i took it.

32 ----> 35
def manageable. ACT is soooooo easy.

I barely studied, got a 33. I really wish I would have looked over science a little bit, it really brought down the average.

my parents kept telling me to read the ACT prep book and of course i didnt but i got a 32 and then a 34

i barely studied and got 34.

Son took it once, no prep, no anxiety...just showed up. Got a 34. Won't be taking it again. Did the same thing with PSAT got a 233.

Man I feel like an idiot compared to you all. I didn't study and I got a 27.

Yeah. I took it cold and got a 27 myself. Of course that was 20-something years ago!

We've got four perfect scores at our school in two years and all four haven't studied at all (while all the people who do study end up getting crappy scores)

yeah i took it last time just looking over a couple things while eating breakfast the day of and got a 33

The first time I skimmed through the English section of Barron's and got a 29.

Second time I didn't study at all and got a 32.

i took it cold and got a 30, did a couple practice tests a past few weeks and hoping to score a 32 or so on it this weekend.

Is this really true or is everyone making it up?? We have had 4 perfects at my school this year and I know 3 studued and 1 did not (but that person is pretty much a genius)?

My cousin's friend took the ACT cold and got a 36. They were in another state on the week of the exam having fun so there you go. He also got a 2300-something on the SAT and is going to Harvard this fall. So yeah, you can take it cold and get a really good score if you're naturally intelligent.

The ACT really just tests what you should have learned in school so yeah it's very much possible

Just don't take it as advice and think you don't have to study. It's a good idea to at least read over a 3rd party book like Princeton Review to get some outside strategies that you won't get in the official ACT book. I haven't had much time to prepare, I'm sort of taking it cold I guess, but I didn't say I would take it cold from the start.

I took it cold and got a 31 (if you consider that a "good" score)...

i will be hated for saying this, but i took it pretty nearly cold (had taken a few practice tests in the immediate days preceding the feb act) and got a 36.
