on the february 2008 test, i studied pretty hard and got a 31... so studying didn't help me in february.. didn't matter in april.. and was very good for me in june

i took the april 2008 test pretty cold and got a 34

and i took the june 2008 test after studying my brains out and got a 35

it really depends on the test.. there may be a bad section on there one time (like my february test) and the next time, it may be great (like my april and june tests)

took it cold...didnt realize you didnt omit any until right before the test started and i got a 34
i guess its because i work really quickly so i didn't have the time issue that most people struggle with

yeah, the time can definitely be a struggle.. i always push it within 10 seconds left... but i somehow manage to finish and do well... somehow.. don't quite understand it

I refuse to study for standardized tests because I feel that defeats the purpose of them. They aren't tests you're supposed to study for or learn stuff for. And honestly, I'm really lazy. :D I barely study for regular school. Takes too much effort.

took it june of sophomore year and got a 34. i forgot that i was taking it and stayed out partying until 1 am the night before and showed up the next morning and pulled off a 34.

I took the ACT as kind of a silly thing, thinking my SAT scores would be the only thing that would really matter. My 34 ACT ended up beating my SAT superscore over three test dates.

I didn't prep at all, and walked in thinking "if I bomb this, so what, no one will ever know."

Took a practice test, walked in, got a 33 (34e 34m 34r 30s)

I've been taking a lot of practice tests to get better at the science since it always brings me down. Math is usually hit or miss, one or two random questions are the difference between a 36 and a 34. Lately I've been getting 36's though just cause I'm more familiar with the material.

I mean I won't say I did absolutely no prep. I did 1 full test and 1 reading section by itself about 4 days before the test and I came out with a 33 (32 E 34 M 35 R 32 S) but I'm actually going to study for the one in november. Aiming for a 35 because I got a 36 on math and science on my practice tests and at least some of the colleges i'm looking at superscore th act so 35 isn't out of my reach

First time I walked in not even looking at a pract. test got a 28, second time I studied and got a 28, third time I took an ACT prep class and got a 28.

I had like 20 mins of prep, to please my parents, then ended up falling asleep, I took it the next morning and got a 36, luck? I don't know, but yeah if that helps.

35 with a hangover. No studying. The ACT was the day after my school's graduation.
It's probably the proudest moment of my life.

I got a 2160 on the SATI after a kaplan course. (I never did any of the work. Regret taking the course. Just fell asleep. The teacher's first words were "Ok, it will be alot more easier if you guys talk to me, and it will also be funner." Right there, I gave up.)

The ACT is basic information under pressure, while the SAT is "How devious do you think we can be? Is it a trick? Maybe, maybe not. HAHA, it was 'No Change.' LOSER! Why would you change 'an hero,' that is totally gramatically correct."

If the SAT was a celebrity, I think it would be Ashton Kutcher, just a jerk. If the ACT was a celebrity, it'd be Pam Anderson; easy, but time is slowly running out.

I thought that I took the ACT cold. I guessed on 5 questions on English, didn't read the last passage on the Reading section and resorted to skim and guess, and read 6/7 science passages. My score turned out to be a 26.

I wasn't pleased with my score. I did little studying; never took the practice test or anything under time constraint. Also, English is not my first language.

last year I took some practice tests beforehand and got a 34...this year I completely forgot about the act until the day before, took it cold, and got a 32...ehh.
