Has anyone taken the summer term?

<p>I want to take 11 credits this summer at Columbia. Is it too much to take French 1201 and an English lit course in the same session? Am I setting myself up to fail, or is it possible to take two courses at a time?</p>

<p>i’ve heard the summer sessions, especially for language classes, are super intensive…i’ve never taken summer classes though</p>

<p>My son has taken 6 credits in the same summer term. It is rather intense. A lot would depend on whether the language is new to you and what lit class you plan to take.</p>
