I heard of a couple of students at Cal taking multiple language classes at once, but I wanted someone's opinion on how it was. I really enjoy Berkeley's language classes because they're really fun so I was hoping to add on another language. I have taken one year of Chinese at Berkeley so far (Chinese 1Y and CHinese 10Y), so I'll be taking Chinese 100AX this upcoming fall. I was also hoping to take Japanese 1A as well. I already memorized the hiragana and katakana for Japanese and I have the books for both classes, so I'm trying to review a little bit before classes start. I figured that two language classes are going to be time-consuming, so I am considering making Chinese 100AX P/NP.

Please let me know your experiences if you have taken two language classes (or more!) :) . I wouldn't say I am great at memorizing, but I have a interest in learning languages and it's fun to me, so I don't mind putting the time in, but I don't want it to be crazy either haha......
