I know I can be easily distracted by noises created by co-test takers,
so I was thinking about using earplugs during the test to prevent it.
Has anyone tried using them? Or does anyone know whether I can use them?
If I can end up using them, I think I will be in a much better condition
because I was distracted by a noise last time and my score dropped significantly

What if the proctor says something during the test? You won't be able to hear then.

OP : LMAO hhahahha! Cool idea mate! But keep your eye on the watch since you wont be able to hear your proctor :)

Well, I am pretty good at time management anyways.
As long as the testing place doesn't get exploded or something,
I think I will be fine.
Does anyone know whether I can or not?

Oh you obviously can use them if you want!

actually co-test takers can be a little unruly at times aand ofcourse u may also hear constant hissing so its a great idea to use ear plugs and i am sure its allowed but most probably they would have no clue to ur using it
USe it if u really are distracted easily.

im pretty sure they arent allowed

They're not allowed because they think a student will try to masquerade earphones and an ipod as earplugs.

That's pretty absurd, thinking earplugs as iPods...

But if I had earplugs, I would use them because I tend to get very easily distracted. I mean, there's nothing wrong with using them, yeah??

Yeah, that's what I've been thinking; there's no harm done, right?
I did think some supervisors may not allow them
because they might confuse them with earphones,
but I doubt they will.
Probably I should get one. I need them during my study hall anyways :p

Lol sorry for gravedigging this (yes i know its three years old), but are earplugs allowed?

it said in the instructions that they are not allowed.

During the May SAT, my proctor specifically mentioned that earplugs aren’t allowed. Sorry.

Yes, I recall hearing that.
