Hey all this might be a silly question, but I am just making sure it’s nothing. I applied for fall 2021 last year and just got this email last night just checking in to see if anyone else is experiencing this. I basically got an email saying that UC had a security breach and my info was released and that the UC isn’t saying anything, but if they don’t reach out then my info will be released to the dark web I know it sounds nuts I was wondering if anyone else got that email. It was sent by someone with random letters in their name so it sounds like it’s not real just double-checking. I am also not a UC student yet just a cc student who applied.
