Hello sweet and caring community,
I am just wondering if I should bother applying via questbridge or not because it takes a lot of effort and I feel like I have a slim chance of becoming a finalist.

Although my family makes less than $30,000 a year for a family of five, we own a business, stocks, and real estate. Our assets using equity, is around $500,000, which is a considerable amount since most questbridge applicants have close to zero assets. I am just asking if anyone in a financial situation similar to that of my family's has received admission into the Questbridge Finalist program and matched with a college. Thanks!

Bump! I am in somewhat of the same situation. My family makes 26K/yr but we do have a house worth $230K market at the moment although there is still roughly 70K left on it to be paid. Not as great of contrast as OP’s situation but bump…

I’m in a similar situation: parents income are 35K but assets about 400K bc nj homes are expensive -_- and I decided not to apply bc I read somewhere that students while low income AND typical assets (around 100K) are eligible. I could be wrong so bump

I’m guessing too -_- but @epan1997 there’s this scholarship called the Gates Millennium Scholarship that you could look at it’s highly selective tho
