Since there are so many people that apply for these scholarships, I just wanted to see if anyone has won any since the probability of winning is like 1/10000.

Nope, not yet.

If you do a search on fastweb you will find that others have asked this question and gotten quite a few responses. Many ppl find it a waste of time but there are others that see it as an asset. If you are new to the scholarship game, I think it is very informative. You can use the calendar to keep track of deadlines for the scholarships you find which I found helpful. They will list all the mainstream scholarships and then some obscure ones as well. Just read what they require and determine from there whether you want to take the time. Fastweb is merely a list of scholarships available. So if you have a great gpa, great test scores, and some great extra curricular stuff then yes, it is worth reaching out to some of these. My son won a 10,000 scholarship that he found on fastweb and nowhere else. It was worth it to us.
