I know the application status website said to check after November 23. I was wondering how many of you who submitted the CSS PROFILE have it checked off of your financial aid to-do list already and how many of you still have it on the list.

We don’t show any outstanding to-do items, so my guess is they’ve downloaded all the CSS information. When we called a couple of weeks ago about this, they said they’d be getting all the CSS info on the 20th.

Are you applying early? Did they receive yours?

My daughter applied early, and we sent in all of her financial aid paperwork well ahead of the game; however, the to-do list kept showing items outstanding - that’s why we called, and that’s when we were told that they wouldn’t be downloading CSS information on anyone until the 20th.

The CSS used to be on the FA To-Do List for me, but it’s gone now.

It’s still their for me. Should I call them up and enquire?

@4khaos- Were all your application materials received on time or did you get a notification around 16th November reminding of missing elements?

Sent mine in on October 29th. It’s not on my to-do list… and I applied ED.

@USApp, My actual application materials were all submitted before the deadline and the self-service site let me know that they had all been received, but a few of my FA materials (W2’s, non-filing statement) were a few days late.

I didn’t receive any notification of missing materials (although the CSS message did stay there until Nov 23). They may still be sorting through CSS information…

@SoccerWolf- Were all your application materials received on time or did you get a notification around 16th November reminding of missing elements?

@4Khaos: The site says that all materials have been received and forwarded. But the financial to-do list still has CSS Profile their. What do you reckon I should do-wait a couple of days or contact them regarding this right now?

@USApplicant: Mine’s still there too, though I’m guessing it has something to do with me being an international student. Sent them an email to confirm but I haven’t gotten a reply yet, guess I’ll just have to wait it out

I think it just takes longer to process the international applicants’ materials.

I guess so. But I asked my friend, he too had applied ED and he said that his CSS profile was due till 22nd Nov but after that it was downloaded.
So I guess there is some problem.
@southpaw: I too have sent them an email. Awaiting reply. Please PM me the reply that you get.

I didn’t have my student-filing forms in, but I sent those in and they processed those pretty quickly. My CSS wasn’t marked as “received” until the 23rd.

Mine still states that I have yet to submit my CSS profile and I am an international student too.

@Macaroons- What are you planning to do about this- wait or write some mails?

@ US applicant: Should I email them or should i wait for a few days first?

@Macaroons- I have mailed them. So I guess you should do it as well or else wait till i PM you there reply to my email. So you can have a better idea.

The financial aid office took the CSS PROFILE off of my to-do list today. I’m not an international student.

@ US Applicant: Thanks for the heads up. I just checked my account and they have removed the CSS profile off my to-do-list! Thanks anyway!
