<p>I imagine most admissions committees are either in the process of selection or are going to start it with the next two weeks.</p>
<p>Word on the street is that MIT is officially in committee and making decisions now.</p>

The decision date hasn't been released yet, and likely won't be released until about the end of the first week of March. MIT usually releases around March 15, but you can look through the blog archives to see the actual dates they have released RD-round decisions in the past five years.</p>
<p>Pi day decisions happened once and were a complete coincidence. If they happen again, it'll be just as coincidental.</p>
