Has my housing been assigned?

I received my tuition statement yesterday and it, of course, contains a housing fee; the fee is for a certain sum, and this sum corresponds with several housing rates listed on the housing website here:

<a href="http://housing.georgetown.edu/academic/index.cfm?fuse=rates%5B/url%5D">http://housing.georgetown.edu/academic/index.cfm?fuse=rates</a></p>

Is it reasonable to assume that my housing has already been decided and that the candidates for my residency are those whose rates correspond with the fee listed on my statement?

all of the freshman dorms are the same price, so I don't think that tells you anything. and also, charms didn't even end until after the statements were sent out.

I am a transfer student so I am being placed in upperclass housing.

no, they charge you for the most expensive housing. if you get assigned housing that's cheaper, they credit your account.

should be $3,856

my son is also a transfer student and his bill IS $3856...but the most expensive housing (from what I can see) is $3968 - so I don't know how valid that theory is...

My rate is also $3856; however, I have been conversing with another transfer whose rate is $3929. Therefore, the rate is not constant and they cannot be arbitrarily assigned.

i called housing and student accounts the other day, and they both told me the same thing. we should know about housing definitively in august
