I don’t know, nycparent12. If the conversations echo the sense of affront and dismissiveness as happens between the adults when the issues on the campuses are addressed, I have no more faith that this time of foment and frontline bonding will do much more to open the door to a sustained conversation, where positions are not set in granite, and where people are listening, sensitive and responsive to ways in which each of us can reach across the aisle, so to speak.
