I submitted the common app about four hours ago, but Stanford hasn't downloaded it yet. It's kind of strange, because Yale downloaded it almost right after submission.

The green arrow next to a school's name means the whole application is complete and submitted, right?

I sent mine the week of Christmas and it was downloaded within a couple hours. However, if you submitted it yesterday, then the system may just be slower. Go to axess.stanford.edu and there’s an application confirmation page. Just use the same email as the one you set up your Common App account with. It’ll send an email within 24 hours with information on what parts of the application have been processed.

Unfortunately, I believe that Stanford has an automated system that downloads new submissions. If you indeed submitted late, then Stanford will likely see the timestamp and possibly reject it. Of course that’s all just an assumption.

Yeah, they downloaded my common app, but my teacher recommendations haven’t been downloaded yet. Also, I receive an error message stating “email address not found” on Axess.

An actual confirmation email was just sent out today. - I sent in my application the second week of December - Did you get it? - these may be sent in waves -
