Hello,

My name is Will Qawasmi, I am currently a 9th grade high school student going on tenth, and is to be graduating hopefully in the year 2013. (Implying the world doesn't end in 2012 that is ;P)

Now this might seem like an awkward question, but this year I had gotten a GPA of 3.2 (85 average), and I am wondering if this had messed up any chances I had of getting into Ivy League colleges, or other colleges such as UCB or UCLA. (I'm very interested in the Computer Engineering field)

Reason why I am so worked up is because of all the hype I have heard about those schools. From what I have picked up over the years, I have found that any small mistake would have a big impact on your chances, and to get into those schools, you would need at least a GPA of 3.75

Now I plan on getting a much higher GPA next year (I do have legitimate reasons to why my grades this year are lower then they usually are), but am scared that this year has corrupted my plans.

Thank you very much for reading,

-Will "Sinity" Qawasmi
