Has Trinity changed?

I attended Trinity back in the day. Although my education was superb and I made lifelong friends, I was quite uncomfortable with the elitism, preppiness and students' overwhelming sense of entitlement. I was uncomfortable being Jewish, and I know the black kids had it even worse. And there wasn't a whole lot to do on the weekends besides get ripped at the fraternities.

But that was years ago. Has anything changed? My son is interested in applying because it does have superb English and creative writing programs. I am concerned that he will find the atmosphere as stultifying and dull as I did. He is very left of center, creative and a bit off the beaten track. He is definitely not into the drinking scene. Do you think he can find his niche there?

I wonder, too.

these are unspoken undertones still, but from my POV, "segregation is more of a product of paranoia now. you probably haven't noticed, since i assume you're much older than i am, but society has been altered to cater to people from various walks of life. opinions and stereotypes have changed for the better. things may not be utopian, but i'm not afraid to conjecture that they are a hell of a lot better.
