Has Yale sent out any rejections?

I heard through the grapevine that Yale has already sent out two waves of rejections. I haven't seen any mention of that on here, and I can't be sure the person wasn't simply referring to EA rejections. Can anyone shed light to this rumor?

I would have to be EA as RD decisions will not come out until March 29th. It won’t be an e-mail but a link to check your decision.

They wouldn’t send out early rejections unless it was ea. That wouldn’t make sense.

Your grapevine is a weed. Only about 1100 SCEA applicants have been notified of rejections.

I can help with this one. I went RD and only have an 1800ish SAT. I also have many other things on my resume but I’m keeping this short. I would think that if they did release rejections, I would have been one of the first to hear. The way I see it I’m still in the running.

Yep, I knew going in my odds were slim but if I didn’t apply I would have never known. Would I go if they offered? You bet I would and there is no doubt I would pass and be very successful.

It would make my 4 years if I got the welcome letter but I’m also realistic so the rejection will be easy to take. What’s good is I’m 5 for 5 in the acceptance area, all public state universities. Very good state schools.

I’m now waiting on the 6 privates I applied to, Yale being one.
