My HS hasn't gotten our transcripts ready yet. (I did receive a copy of my final averages for every class since 9th grade to proof-read for errors, last week). I returned it right away, hoping my transcripts could now be released. GC says that they should be ready by then end of next week. She says that they can't go out without rank. So, they wait until everyone gets theirs in.

In the meantime, there are people that have applied ED at some schools. I applied EA to one school, but applied rolling to my first choice financial safety. Will transcripts get into the schools system on time?

Not to mention teacher rec letters aren't completed yet, either.

Is my school on average with other schools with release time?

my guidance department has been very annoying with different transcripts. I have had to bug them multiple times, and even involve the principal of my school because my counselor wasnt sending transcripts out until a certain date because she was “busy.” meanwhile, my senior class has 40 kids and two guidance counselors, so she has 20 kids. how busy can they be?

My GC, even though he takes care of 100 seniors, has been pretty good about my transcripts. I dropped off the request forms on Wednesday, and he just send me a note saying mine will be the first ones out Monday morning

I dropped off my list of apps on September 15th. It just seems like guidance is moving so slow. Every college presentation I’ve ever been to has ALWAYS stressed early apps. Over and over, to be mindful of deadlines. It’s just frustrating that it’s taking so long for guidance to do their part.

Doesn’t sound about right. Transcripts are not difficult to send out at all, and should always be available. My counsler has sent my transcripts to a few schools, and supposely should be sending them off to more. A few schools that should have recieved my transcript though says it has nothing, I’m starting to get concern about possible nitpicking etc… making me become very alert to when my transcripts are being recieved from the schools and when did they become mailed.
