Hasting vs outside of the t-14

<p>I've never set foot on the west coast, but the impression I get is that Hastings for the Bay Area is like Fordham for NYC. I have always said that Fordham should be chosen over any school outside of the t-14 if you want to work in NYC. I'd be willing to extend that statement to Hastings for the Bay Area. </p>

<p>I've met a lot of senior lawyers and hiring partners from Hastings. IMO the board really tends to underestimate the power of high-rep regional schools.</p>

<p>um, sure. i've also read that outside of stanford and boalt, hastings is the next top choice if you want to work in the bay area. hastings grads usually get preference over uc davis and santa clara, or so i've heard.</p>
