Hate to do this...but Chances?

GPA - 3.15 (weighted)
SAT - Math - 700 Reading - 630 Writing - 610
SAT II - Math II - 700 Biology M - 670

Extracurriculars - Ultimate Frisbee (10th, 11th, 12th)
- Marching Band (10th, 11th, 12th)

Did ok freshman year. Did pretty bad sophomore year, brought it up junior year, then brought it up even more senior year.

I have done about 9 honors classes and am currently taking AP Biology where I have about an A- in. Planning to major in Biology.

I’m also In-state and most likely in at least the top 50% of my class.

I think you have a good chance of getting in. The SATs are good and bringing your grades up looks good too

I personally think you are going to get in because I applied with far worse stats and got deferred, so if I didn’t get denied than you’re in. My sat scores combined were 1460…gpa was 3.1

I hate to say this but I don’t think you have very good chances. A 3.1 GPA weighted is very low, as the average GPA for last year’s acceptance was around a 3.6. Also, you have very few extracurriculars.

You’ll get in

You will get in. My guess is that you go to a very competitive high school, the colleges know who they are. There is much grade inflation in high schools out there. UMass has a GPA average of 3.6 and an SAT average of 1100. They don’t correlate, the GPA is inflated. So your high school will have sent their hardness of curriculum rating; relax, you are in. You will notice that only people with high stats post their GPA and SAT. Such is the world. Good luck, the world is yours.
