<p>I've been lurking on this site for awhile now, and always thought the whole chancing thing was silly. I am reluctantly eating my words right now as the pressure and intimidation of applying for college comes near. I'm not sure how making a chance thread will make me feel better, but oh well! Here goes: </p>

- Senior schedule: all IB classes, toughest available

- Been in orchestra since elementary school
- Volunteered as an afterschool mentor/field trip chaperone at a place called Heart House since sophomore year

- Will organize 30 hr. famine this year (project to help with hunger)
- Helped organize blood drives and a school beauty pageant for charity

I'm aware that these aren't the most outstanding stats. I'm really relying on my essays, as I'm fairly sure I can channel my passion and personality through my writing. I'm pretty sure my teacher recs and whatnot will be good as well. </p>
