Has anyone ever gone into a class thinking it would be interesting, and ended the class hating the subject entirely? If so what subjects?

I've had to take theology, accounting, and a history all of which I hated.

Theology: I'm taking a course covering the reformation period (important figures christian theology, the protestant reformation, calvin reformation, catholic reformation aka counter-reformation, etc.). I'm not a religious person. But I don't mind learning about religion. I've grown up in a Christian family I guess you can say. However I think after this class is done I will have a new found hate for the entire subject. I find it so ridiculous how people on this planet spent over 100s of years arguing about their own interpretation of the religious texts such as the Bible.

Accounting: Holy crap, this had to be the driest material ever. I don't think for a second anyone can enjoy this stuff without thinking about the future benefits of being an accountant. I enjoy math, but this isn't even math.

History: I enjoy history generally, but my school blows ass when it comes to history. I had to take a western civ class and the teacher was absolutely dry. And common knowledge she should have had as a professor, she just lacked. It's as if she read straight from a textbook. I don't understand how people like this can get hired in a school. The other class I took was a US History class because I felt it would be 1) easy and 2) interesting (I enjoyed it a lot in high school). However once again this teacher had to be the dumbest professor I've ran into thus far I've taken (she did not know basic American geography in a US History class!). I didn't spend too much time there. I withdrew from that class and ended up taking an Ancient Roman History class which is the best class I've taken (not surprisingly it's offered by a different department "Classics" not "History").
