Glad to hear you’re covered, too, ABW! Have you decided which orientation you’re going to? I’ll be at the June 27 - 28 one, if you care to join me. :D

I also got work study. I’ll probably turn it down, since it only allows for $1500 per semester, and I already make about twice that at my current off campus job.

Thanks! It’s so awesome that horrible wait is finally over for us. Now we get to test our wits against their bureaucracy lol.
I went ahead and accepted the work-study for now, but I’ll probably turn it down and keep working part-time at my new job. It’s hard work, but it’s good exercise and flexible with hours. Work-study just never ends up working out very well for some reason.

I can’t wait to go to orientation…We are going on the 27th as well! We definitely need to stay on here and keep in touch in the meantime.

Btw, are you taking any classes at ACC this summer, or are you one of those people who is kissing it goodbye once and for all (Not that it has been a bad experience)? I think I’m going to take 1 class to meet a prerequisite.

I have loved my time at ACC for the most part, but I’m graduating with my AA in two weeks, so I’ll be done there for good. Already got my cap and gown today! Can’t really transfer any more credits, since I’ll be going into UT as a junior as it is.

But yeah, I think work study is good if you’re living on campus and can’t find any other jobs, but my part-time job gives me paid vacation, sick days, and holidays, plus partial health insurance. I’d be an idiot to quit that for work study at half the pay!
