I wasn't intending to get into this major, but my friend was like I heard that if you picked an engineering major and you don't get in, you have a higher chance at another major in the Arts and Sciences...So i took his advice..
but then, I got into the major I didn't intend to even major in..I was aiming for biological sciences so I can do biomedical engineering or go off to medical school...
but I'm still gonna try it out and see how I like it before finding a way to incorporate biology into computer science or just changing my major all together...
trust me, only programming or whatever I know is html >>;
my math is not very hot and I havent even touched physics before...
sigh</p>

<p>I'm taking Physics in high school right now. One of the best classes that I have EVER taken.</p>
<p>My math is good..in AP Calc BC right now and I took a really basic intro into programming class at SBCC last semester. Science at my high school sucks and I basically used physics last year as a study hall =P. Hopefully my (somewhat) decent math skills will make up for my poor science education.</p>

<p>I did go to Spring Insight, but it wasn’t me that asked the question about pre-med and CS, I asked the question about how much of an emphasis of math there is in CS, to which the guy said that there is calc but how he never even used it afterwards, haha.</p>
<p>There were a lot of questions I wanted to ask, but a lot more people go to it before me, I’m short so it took a while for the lady to call on me…T_T</p>

<p>^Yeah, my mom asked about what the normal freshman courses were like, and it took the lady like 10 minutes to call on her.</p>
<p>And I thought it was really funny when they said at the Engineering talk that 40% of the people in the Society of Women Engineers are male.</p>
