I'm waiting. I got an e-mail saying they are considering me for this student opportunity thing and need me to send in some tax forms. Does this mean anything???

did you do an interview? is this heop?

No I didn't have an interview. yeah its HEOP. but I don't remember applying for it on my application.

at the very least it means interest, but i think its probably a likely.

what's HEOP?

what were your stats? Nationality?

***im asking because im also applying for heop ;)

Well I didn't take the SAT but I got on 27 on my ACT (math brought me down. I had a 33 and 32 respectively on writing and English), which is still in the mean of accepted students according to College Board. I am american. What are you? I have a 3.7 on a 4.0 scale and I take two classes at the university of wisconsin-milwaukee along with my AP classes at school so that was probably a plus. Also I think my resume pushed me over. I spent a summer at Oxford doing this academic program in International Relations. But I don't want to excite myself and then get a rejection letter. When did they send you the e-mail? What are your stats? Good Luck to all. If I don't get in to Columbia, I'm going to Macalester because its great for internationalism.

hey we should talk since we have similiar experiences and are applying to similiar programs (heop).

Agh!!! I just had my interview with th people for the opportunity programs. I hope I sounded ok and like I knew what I was talking about. I hate when they ask those open-ended or general questions though.

Someone always has to knock down your glory don't they :) Well dsmo, 27-32 is what the middle 50% of admitted students score and I have a very impressive resume, like being editor-in-chief of a national Teen Magazine and having all 5s on my AP exam. Did you have an interview or were you admitted?
