Same boat as you for College park. applied Oct 2 and still no reply. However, the students that applied by Aug should have gotten replies.

None of these schools but I have heard back from JMU for Spring 2012 transfer if that helps

Applied to
NYU
Fordham
on 9th Oct

No word yet.

Let me know if anyone hears anything. I am so anxious its killing me.

I applied on the 10th of Oct. They told me my app is complete. I just would like to know their decision already.

Nope, and I am kinda dying on the inside.

I applied to:
Emory
Smith
NYU
Vassar
Brandeis
American
Loyola Chicago

Emory told me that I should hear back this week, but nothing yet so far. Brandeis told me that December 1st is their notification date. I think NYU is December 15th and Vassar said mid December. The wait is killing me! I can’t focus on anything… driving me crazy!

I heard back from Fordham, and I got in which I am pretty stoked about.
Now I am just waiting on

BU
NYU
LMU
UMD College Park

and I thought that NYU said mid november?

I got in to Loyola Chicago! I actually know little about the school, and it will probably be one of my last choices, but still cool! Congrats on Fordham, I had thought about applying there! Did they give you housing? About NYU, for some reason I thought I had seen that they would be releasing decisions online on Dec 15, but I could be totally wrong. They had contacted me last week about my application, but didn’t say when I would find out their decision.

Definitely not December 15th, I was on Albert and saw Dec 15th for decision 1 people, not transfers. I thought that seemed really late!

alright well lets all keep each other updated with the NYU decisions. even if you get rejected (which most likely I will be) at least we will have some idea of when they are sending out decisions. And they are emailing the decisions right? It’s not like we are going to sign into albert and it will tell us.

transferspring, good luck! I’m sure you have as good a chance as me. I think that they email their decisions. I was looking on past forums and it looks like most people hear in December, but maybe we will be lucky and hear in Nov. I will post if I hear anything… good or bad. I am more nervous about the other schools because I know they will give me financial aid, where NYU probably won’t.

Transferspring do you mind if I ask how you received your acceptance to Fordham? through letter email or did you check your status online through a user name and password. I am so anxious to know

I hope they don’t think I am a pest, but I actually emailed my admissions person at NYU and asked if she could give me an approximate notification date because I have to give word to Loyola… I just hate how this whole process seems so last minute. So many decisions to make in such a short period of time.

It was an email. I had never been sent the email with a username and password.

I got a letter like a week ago or two saying id get a user name and password to check the status of my app. i guess not. did they offer you housing?

Transferspring, do u mind if i ask what your GPAs like? I was wondering what the standard is for Fordham admission

I recently went to Fordham’s huge open house (my sister is applying), and the transfer admissions counselor told me that as long as you have a 3.0 you are basically in.
