I tried the link too. I didn’t see anything that said March 21.

Dangit. This is from the email i received directly after submission of my app:

“You will have access to your materials checklist through March 6. You will not have access to your admission decision on the web. Decision letters will be mailed in late-March.”

I was bored in school and called an admissions officer whose number I just have, since I want to go so badly and all, and she said there are NO ONLINE NOTIFICATIONS of decisions. It’s all by mail, and they will be ‘mailed out in late march’

Hey guys just to clarify – I was talking with an admissions officer the other day and decisions will be sent out by mail on March 27th. Good luck to us!

I applied EE, and when I go to ([decision access](http://www.wellesley.edu/admission/decision)) and put in the Login ID and PIN from EE, it gives me the following message:

“You may view your decision on this site between March 21, 2008, at 5:00PM Eastern Daylight Time and May 1, 2008.”

As this seems to directly contradict what admissions officers are saying, maybe it’s some kind of mistake? Or maybe it’s just for EE applicants? I have no idea.

EDIT: OK, now that I actually think, I realize it says 2008, not 2009. So, quite possibly, this is just a leftover message from last year, and the information that decisions only come out by mail is probably more trustworthy? But I have no idea.

I applied EE also so I as long as the admissions officer was right, it is the 27th.

no online notifications. why must they be so old school?
waiting for an envelope may very well kill me.

decisions will be posted online - March 27th, 5 p.m. EST
just got a mail…

I got the same message saying, “You may view your decision on this site between March 21, 2008, at 5:00PM Eastern Daylight Time and May 1, 2008.”
I think they forgot to delete the message from last year.
But I will try it on the 21st just in case :)

oh… mine says that i won’t be able to view it before Friday but i think its specific to overseas applicants…

What kind of messages are those? Emails or Mails?

I am pretty worried now since I have not got any message (either mail or email) from them regarding the notification date…
what does it mean?

I recieved an email…one that just said what time I can check (27th etc.)…but I am an international student so mabye that makes a difference?

Well ever since I got “likely” in my Early Evaluation, the admission office and some alumni have been contacting both me and my parents by mail, e-mail, and on the phone.

laceyk, that’s really interesting. I got that letter from the head of the Alumnae thing, but I haven’t been contacted by admissions or any alumnae… Then again, I live in a town 10 minutes from campus, so maybe they think that I can handle visiting the school on my own.

laceyk , early congrats to you!! according to the saying someone posted here before, its very likely that you are in!!!

telianathegreat: yeah, I live in TX
That might explain why… hehe
WLMzzz: Thank you. I hope so too hopefully with great financial aid.

ack!
does that apply to veryone who isn’t overseas??

it probably does… why would they only post overseas decisons online? and they’re sending decisions to overseas applicants by regular mail as well…

i’d just like to say that I can’t possibly wait that long.
they should release decisions tomorrow.
