I took the SAT earlier this month and was planning on prepping for the ACT after I finished (I have Barrons guide as well as "mystudentedge.com" or something). But I got too caught up with upcoming college application deadlines that I have not had time to prep at all, what do i do now? This will be my first time taking it (I am a HS senior). Should I retake it in December?

Well just see how you do this time before you sign up to take the December date. Just study with Barrons and try a couple practice tests. That’s what I’m doing this week.

In my opinion the difference between the SAT and ACT is the point of studying. It really helps more on the SAT. If i were you i would just make sure i knew the basics, maybe look over some science sections and just do some extra practice. Studying a week before for the act probably wont impact your score by much unless your composite from previous times was low.
