Have I Done Enough to Get Into Good Schools?

I just feel like I haven't done enough...and I'm starting to freak out. Senior year starts in two weeks. I've joined a lot of clubs, but I haven't been with them all for a really long time, and I'm only an officer of one. My grades are good, but colleges don't just care about grades...Here's what I've got...

Thank you to all who read this!

PS: Just posted this in College Admissions and got told to come here. Sorry for the mistake, still pretty new here haha.

I’d say the only thing you need to do is improve on those scores. Your GPA is awesome and your E.C.'s are fine. Brown will be the toughest for you, in my opinion - as it is for most people and almost everybody.

Brown is a long shot I know, but I figure, what the heck? Why not apply and see what happens? As for the others…you think I stand a decent chance of getting in?

Yeah. I think you’ll have better chances after retakes.

Thanks jibler, but I’m bumping because the more opinions the better.

I think it looks like you tried joining a lot of clubs in the last minute to improve your app, which does not look good at all. You do have some long term ones, but who knows how much you are committed to them. Your math scores are terrible relative to your other amazing ones, try to improve on that. You have a great academic profile. What do you want to major in? You have Virginia tech, a good engineering school, but then you have colgate, which doesn’t connect to me. I think you have good shots at most of those, but I would say you would be extremely lucky to get into brown, but it doesn’t hurt to try, you never know.

Colleges do care about grades and you do have good ones. Just bring up your SAT and focus on your Math.

I would like to say that my sister got in Columbia with a 3.47 and a 2050 on her SAT but her EC were focused on her passions at the time (art and politics) and her essays and rec were great. So stocking up on things that may “look good” may not be what you need. Just be passionate and schools should see that
