I am a senior in high school, and Elon University is my top choice for college next year. Throughout high school, my grades have been mainly B’s, with a mix of a few A’s and the very occasional C. My first semester grades for this year were not that great. I got an A, 3 B’s, a C, and a D. Since my school has sent a mid-year report to the colleges I applied to, will this have much of an effect on my chances of getting into Elon?
What is your SAT/ACT score? GPA?
You can look at this graph for Elon to see how you fit in.

What are you getting a D in? Is that something you want to major in?
Here some ideas on how to study differently:

What would you think if you were an admissions officer? I don’t know the answer either but I don’t think it will help your chances. Sorry but hopeful it works out.
Work hard on getting those grades up in case you are waitlisted. Don’t waste your energy worrying or posting on CC. Study hard, control the things you can and ignore those in your past.
Good luck.
