Have not heard yet...?

I applied with the priority 3 weeks application 3 weeks ago and have not heard back yet. Is the application actually three weeks or have most people been waiting longer? Could this be a bad sign? Thanks!

My D applied 25 days ago and hasn’t heard back.

@TV4caster‌ she applied with priority? Have you asked admissions if a decision has been made and mailed?

I am not sure about Priority but I think so. She has not asked anyone about it

I think the 3 weeks might be from when application is complete, when they have received SAT scores, transcript. Do you know when those were sent since they can take a while? Also it was mentioned before that they have a high volume of applications coming in and admissions meets every Friday I think.

Hope you hear something soon!

@mommdc‌ I sent sats and transcripts before I submitted the app. It says complete 10/31. Hoping to hear today but if I dont its okay… When we submitted it and asked about the status about 2 weeks ago we were told we should hear before thanksgiving. Hopefully they are right!

Just called admissions and they said “a decision has been made and you should receive a letter shortly”. Does that mean I’m rejected because they typically email acceptances and deferrals?

i think they mail all letters. my son, when accepted last year, received his acceptance letter via snail mail. i think it;s that way for everyone. so you getting something in the mail does not offer any insights as to whether it’s a yay or nay at this point. but at least a letter sounds like it is on the way so you will know soon!!

My S applied and the application was complete on 10/15/14 and we have not heard anything yet. Admissions said that he should get something in the mail soon. Guess it takes over a month?

My D received an acceptance letter and scholarship offer last year via snail mail, no emails.

The email thing may be new because of the new videos that they produce. My D got the email/video Friday and the snail mail went out on Thursday according to admissions.

Snail mail came either yesterday or today. Nothing in it about any merit aid.

@TV4caster‌, everyone is receiving information on whether or not they have been selected for merit aid after they receive acceptance letters. Our scholarship committee is meeting from now-February, so anyone who is selected for a scholarship will hear by March 1 at the latest.
