my both teachers sent their recommendations by mail. However, the problem is that I did not "invite" them though common app website at the beginning. I just gave them the forms, asked for the letters, and they send it all to colleges.

Now, will the application let me complete the submission without those invitations showing green? I am sure the letters arrived. its just that because teachers were not invited from common.app website, its not being detected.

so should I just ask my teachers to ignore it? Even though it will not show as submitted, will you be able to submit? DI you already submit? sorry for so many questions :-(

Well, that's what I told mine. I also told them to see if there's anything that says something about already submitting a hard-copy or something.

but the letters are already sent. Why will it make a difference? I dont think so. And the teachers wont mind being disturbed during the holidays.

You still have to enter your teacher information regardless just don't include the email address. Then, on the school forms section, your teachers' names should say Offline Provider and you'll be safe to go. Or else, Common App won't allow you to submit the application.

Yes, do what xm1chelle said. Enter the teachers' names without their email addresses. That will allow you to submit your application online, but your teachers won't be bothered -- and yes, your rec letters will get added to your file after your college receives them.
