Have only Academic activities or add some non-acad stuff?

<p>K so everyone is familiar with how ALL college apps give you about 5-7 spaces to breifly name and describe ALL your most important EC's.</p>

<p>Here is my list for MIT (only 5 allowed, rest can go on additional info)</p>

<p>*Science Bowl
*Economics Competition Team
*Math Club
*Piano:instrumental
*FIRST Robotics Team</p>

<p>ALL these activities I have done with extreme depth. Won awards and attended nationals in science bowl. Won math comps in math club. Won state championship in econ and 2nd in west of the nation. Done numerous piano certificate/accomplishment programs for all 4 years.</p>

<p>Here are the the other two activities I do with equal depth. I have played tennis for 4 years, voted most improved for two years straight and I intern for electrical engineering. I am REALLY leaning towards having my internship replace my piano activity, but I am afraid that it might come too strong as me being a nerd )(even though I totally am). But I seriously DO consider it one of my important and in depth ones!!!</p>

<p>Any recommendations?</p>

<p>If someone were to ask you at a party (cough) what kinds of things you’re involved in, and you don’t want to give them a litany of a bunch of activities, you’d probably only pick 5-7. Put those ones on your application.</p>
