Schools I am interested in:
U Chicago
University of Virginia
Vanderbilt
Cornell
University of Texas
Washington University St. Louis
Carleton
Macalester

From your stats, I would say that a few colleges (Cornell, Washington U. in St. Louis, U of Chicago) are reaches. However, if you could bring up your ACT or SAT scores, perhaps list some awards, and emphasize the program you founded, you could significantly increase your chances.

skp ditto…on the money! grrr dont apply to macalaster you’ll, you will knock me out! just kidding. In all seriousness, you a have a solid transcript and decent ECs. raise those scores and you’ll pull yourself closer to those reaches. Remember reaches are reachable!- very preachy

If these are your final scores, it is highly likely you’ll be disappointed with the outcome in April. You need to develop a much more reasonable list of schools. From your other posts on CC, this will be difficult for you. But if you stay with this list, you are setting yourself up for heartache.

i agree that you should add more match schools. your sat cr is fine for vandy, but your math is a bit low.. and your gpa is also low.. so vanderbilt is also a reach. i dk much about univ of texas but for the others id say basically they are all reaches.. all great schools though! if you are really in love with one of them maybe considering applying ed if its not too late to increase your chances.. have you thought about univ or richmond, that could be more of a match
