Have some questions regarding the application

Is it too late for me to apply for CS? Are there certain dates for specific majors I have to reach or am I fine

My stats are 4.14 W, 1430 SAT, 100+ hours of volunteering, clubs, track, tech extracurriculars, good essays

Would these stats be competitive enough? And would it be possible for me to get any merit?

Hello!

If you are planning to apply as a fall 2019 freshman - you still have time! The School of Computing and information operates on rolling admissions, just like the other freshman entry school. We do encourage students to apply as early as they can, since rolling admissions means that we are admitting students as we go and each school has limits on the number of students they can enroll every year. It will help your chances!

If you are a transfer student, the School of Computing and Information has preferred deadlines depending on the semester you are interested in starting:
Fall: August 1
Spring: December 1
Summer: April 1

If you are an international freshman or transfer student, there are deadlines you need to observe:
Freshman Deadlines
April 1: fall term (August)
October 1: spring term (January)

Transfer Deadlines
May 1: fall term (August)
October 1: spring term (January)
February 15: summer term (May)

Best,
A Pitt Admissions Staffer
