<p>We see individual student scores, plus a summary report that shows how many got 1’s, 2’s, 3’s, etc. Later (like September or October) we get a report that shows how the students did as a group on the multiple choice and the essays. This is summary only data - we do not get individual scores on either section.</p>
<p>On the post above, it matters a great deal. If it doesn’t matter to the teacher, then they shouldn’t be teaching as far as I’m concerned. In terms of the breakdown, this varies a lot by the quality of the teacher, the students, and the committment level of both. My students’ scores exceed the national average every year in terms of pass rate, but we rarely have that many scores of 5. But, when you look at the average SAT score of my students it is pretty low compared to many AP classes. I have some friends who teach APUSH and their students make lots of 4’s and 5’s - but their average SAT score is over 1300. So, it varies a lot by school and the student population served.</p>
