Have the Ivies already made admission decisions?

^That sums up my question!!! I got a C in AP Calculus last semester and a B in AP Chem. My third quarter ends this week. It looks like I will have a B in AP Calc and an A in AP Chem. Have the ivies already made their decisions, or would it be of any use to update them on third quarter grades??

Thanks for the input!! I appreciate it!

They are still reading files surely.

i bet any borderline cases will be read up until a couple days before final decisions are sent out

At this point they are most likely in committee (or at least those schools that use this process).

I seriously doubt, though, that the two improvements would affect your application in a significant way.

Update your grades. If nothing else, you’ll have shown your interest in the college. Every little helps.

Good luck.

It can’t hurt to update all your schools. Call and ask the admissions office how they prefer the updates. If you can fax in with your application ID# then that would be the fastest.

Best of luck!

I would not send these updates in third quarter grades – it will probably make no significant difference, and write now the Ivy League schools are probably swimming in the thick of their nearly 30,000 applications (decisions go out in early April, so that everyone will have time to decide where they want to attend by May 1, yes?) with 2-3 weeks left before they will send out decisions…

It likely won’t help much, but if you are really that worried about it, send them in.
