Have y'all purchased a computer from SCI and started registering for courses?

I'm just curious because I haven't even started and I don't want to be behind!! (I was browsing the Course Offerings from the Registrar's Office webpage and some classes have already been closed and some have only a few seats left)

I guess I don't need the laptop now, so that's not an issue.

Thanks!

My D hasn’t started choosing courses either. Are most really closed already? Bummer.

I didn’t think freshmen could actually officially register until orientation. I’m not authorized to log into SCORE yet, and I’m pretty sure that’s the only way to register for classes. I remember filling out a tentative course plan on one of the matriculation forms, but it’s not official.

EDIT: Okay, official registration for 2014ers doesn’t start until orientation:

Ok! i couldn’t log into SCORE either, but i thought that was only a personal problem. thanks fightthetide!

Freshmen register for courses during orientation week. You will be assigned an advisor and you sit down at an appointed time and choose your classes with him/her. It’s good to have an idea of what you are thinking of taking ahead of time. Rising seniors, juniors and sophomores have already registered for fall courses, so that’s why some of them are closed. But most are not. Do not worry! My son wasn’t shut out of anything last year.
