But I have like 400 friends and Im really connected with everybody but I'm too addicted to the internet and Facebook is one thing I need to stop.

I have, many, many times. I just deactivate mines. I might do it again this summer.

I don’t have one because I feel like I don’t need even more distractions.

Sent from my iPhone using CC

Niiice :D

Same here, actually.

I deactivate mine a lot

But it’s the easiest way to stay in contact with my friends, so I always reactivate it.

I seem to be the only one considering starting a facebook.

There’s really no reason to deactivate it, because everyone ends up coming back. If you don’t want to use it for whatever reason, then just stop going there.

No real reason to get rid of it. Just control the urge. I heard they ask you a bunch of weird questions like “how did facebook change your life?” before you delete it. Zuckerburg seems like he would’ve been an active CCer.

LOL, I didn’t make one until my junior year of high school. After I made it, I considered deleting it because I already knew who my friends were and who my “friends” were. I don’t think about deleting it anymore because I actually use it beside playing Tetris lol

It doesn’t really matter if you delete it or not, your social “”“status”“” doesn’t change okaaaay, lol. You were fine without one, you’ll be fine without one =) the people you know will still be people you know. (:

hey random question completely off topic lol i was just wondering. I got a letter from college admissions assistance and i never heard of them until i got the letter i was just wondering if they were legit because i already registered.

I made one Facebook account when FB was available in my town. Friends warned me of the pitfalls of Facebook but they still made accounts for themselves anyway. I just don’t care. I prefer CC though…

Why would FB be not availiable in your town? As long as you guys have internet, you can make an account

<— No facebook.

That’s the flavor of indie, alternative cool that I am, man.

^^Facebook is banned in Syria, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Iran and China. Not everyone has access to it.

I should have known Alternative and indie flavors earlier before blaming anybody for internet censorship banning Facebook. Lol

I never really thought about deleting my facebook just because I know that when I do delete it I might lose connection to a lot of great friends I have developed over the years. Being in the military, I move around A LOT and having a facebook is virtually the only way I can stay in contact with all of my old friends/acquaintances.

^ That is a great reason to keep a Facebook.

Hahah yes. Sometimes, when I feel socially well off I LOVE it. However, other times when I’m stuck at home studying…while everyone else is out partying or w/e it makes me feel so insecure. LOL and all the misconceptions that lead to jealousy!

I tried deleting mine. Then I went to a dance and met people. So, now I have my Facebook again. I really wish I could get rid of it.

I think it depends on how much you use it. I have some friends who are literally online for 10 hours straight, while I have another friend whose last wall post was from February. I’ve considered deactivating mine (I’m on it a lot), but I never do because I know I’ll come back anyway. Some of my friends adopt interesting measures to stop using Facebook. My cousin had his friend create a new password so that he couldn’t log in LOL.
