Have you dropped your AP Courses yet?

::feels so stupid:: how do u guys think Euro is easy????

It's kind of an "intro to AP" course at my school... and since I have AP experience it's easy. Just a lot of memorizing and that's it.

well idk
just read the textbook and i'm fine. the essays i just plan them and i'm ok the analysis is qutie easy. idk it's not like a super easy class at my school. It's about medium hard i guess. but then again ur school might be different.

I almost dropped Calculus for Critical Thinking, but they wouldn't let me out, but I have to say that this is the first good decision that my GC has made.

No, but if I get another bad grade in Calc BC, then I'll blow the classroom up...

I really want to drop AP Physics... its very hard but i would seriously feel lik ea lesser person if i did so. So im gonna stay in it.

It's ok, I think AP Euro is hard too.

I'm in AP World History. The course isn't hard itself. It's just the teacher. He gives us a chapter to read like in two day. The chapter are 20-30 pages long. Also there are essays and projects. I think I have a 90 in that class. he said out of 75 only 4 would get A's but so far I think like 10 people have A's.

How do different school teach AP's? Do they use the same book? The same guidelines? Like for example in my classes we spent like half of a quarter spending time on ancient world history. Do all school do that?

Well im a junior and I was taking 4 AP's: Chem, USH, English 11, Stat. I was really busy the first three weeks of school, i rarely went to sleep before 1:30, also considering that i do a lot of extra-curics. I was doing fine in all of my classes but AP English. Like i would get 100's on all the quizzes and tests, but combined those were only worth 50% of the quarter grade. The rest of the 50% came from essays. I had already gotten back two essays on one i got a 72 and on the other a 81. The teacher though probably the best english teacher in our school by far, just graded extremely hard on the essays (was never really good at english). So i decided that I didnt want to overwhelm myself and dropped the class and moved down to honors. So far my honors class seems to be going good except for the fact that the teacher seems to be kinde weird.

At my school you can't drop an AP. If a teacher drops you from it, then you can't take honors, you have to take regular.
