Have you ever done something as dumb as this?

Okay so I was looking at best college dorms website. I clicked on the college and was reading about it. On about 3 of the 10 colleges I said request more information giving them like my basic info (address, phone number, ect). But only after did I did this did I realize the list was made up of nothing but....wait for it.....

you are almost there don't freak lol

trust me its funny once you get there

I wonder how many people will actually see these... hmm

WOMEN'S colleges

Yeah and you can tell right from my name that I am a male. I did wonder why they didn't ask for gender....

So my question is have you done anything this dumb before?

What’s even more dumb than that is the fact that you’re requesting information from colleges…

A male requesting info from an all women’s college…REALLY?!

^^I requested info from 300+ colleges for my HS sophomore brother. He gets a ton of mail every day hee hee it’s hilarious.

I went to take my tray at school last year and forgot my tray at the table.

I’ve had this conversation with a guy who was, well, I’m not going to flatter myself and say he was flirting, but he was definitely trying to sound impressive to me.

Me: But out of all the colleges on my list, I really hope to get into Barnard the most.
Him: Oh yeah, they send me stuff all the time! Doesn’t it get annoying? Like stop already!
Me: Erm, I don’t think you should really be having a problem with that.
Him: Why, huh? Because I’m not good enough for them?
Me: No, it’s a woman’s college…
Him: Oh. Well. I still get tons of stuff from lots of colleges all the time!

^^^Why would you waste so much time doing that? XD

^^I requested info from 300+ colleges for my HS sophomore brother. He gets a ton of mail every day hee hee it’s hilarious.

This only serves to waste more precious resources and increase administrative costs. Ultimately, these costs get passed on to us parents!:(

The day after I got accepted to my college, I was driving to school. I had driven maybe 2 miles when I realized I was driving towards the college, not my high school.

I still have a Colgate poster in my bedroom.

Seriously, I get 3 or 4 college letters a day without requesting anything. Why would you go out of your way to request stuff?

^^^^^Because the end results are worth it. And I still have more schools to do.

Although he still gets stuff I haven’t requested. Stupid genius brother with his high PSAT scores. -_-

Schools send people so much stuff that I don’t think I had much of an impression. I only requested info from maybe 15 schools I was interested in, but the amount of schools that sent me mail was 10 times that. And I didn’t just get postcards either. Yesterday some school I’ve never heard of sent me a 70-page hardcover-bound book. Although it was pretty awesome…
