Have you ever pulled a real all-nighter?

Have you ever pulled a real all-nighter ON A SCHOOL NIGHT? One in which you received absolutely no hours of sleep? If you ever have, why?

Yup. Just hanging out with friends.

I did once during freshmen year; a bunch of my friends slept over and one of my friends and I just stayed up all night for the heck of it.

I’ve never pulled one to finish homework or anything, though and I imagine that that would really suck.

Yes, but never for academic reasons. Why? Because yolo.

yep, on a school night too! Snuck out with my girlfriend at midnight, got back at 5am and didn’t see a point to an hour of sleep. I’d like to thank red bull. That, plus many video game all nighters but a lot of guys I know do that.

Never for academics. Academics will never be the result of me loosing sleep. But late night on the town doing fireworks and wreaking havoc, yes :)

Yeah, in freshman year for physics. I stayed up THE WHOLE NIGHT and started around 5:00pm. I probably had little naps in between but it was terrible. I had a D in that class and I really wanted at least a C. On my final I got a B which brought up my D to a C. I was so excited lol.

Latest I’ve stayed up was till 5, and that was the night/morning after prom.

Good, I never knew you were that kid of guy…so dangerous lol

I’m am international man of mystery. And one does not say no when one is asked by a cheerleader to sneak out. One would have to be very stupid.

I get confused when you refer to him as good.

All of your stories are really interesting and funny.

@GoodACTor I tried Red Bull once, after getting about 3 hours of sleep the night before. Unfortunately, it had no affect on me so I was sleepy the entire day. :(

I’ve pulled probably ~5 all nighters on school nights and like 10-on weekends. The ones on school nights were mostly for academics, but also for stuff like hanging out or sleepovers. Or concerts.

Okay, I got some sleep. Late start Wednesday, school begins at 8:55. I slept around 7:15 for an hour, but I saw the morning sun in December.

I had to write 3 essays which were due the next day. A, B, B. The B’s were from scratch and had complete BS analysis which I do all the time in English so my paper is “unique.” I’ve turned what Sparknotes says into the complete opposite by twisting my analysis. That’s why I feel English isn’t going to get me anywhere solid…

Gotta keep the red bull flowing or you will crash! 5 hour energy is way better long term.

@Good oh you’re a wise man as well!
@helloel why is that? (this is to when you said you get confused when I refer to him as good)

Hahah cause I thought you were just saying “good”.

Ohhh I guess I gotta make sure to put “@” there, huh?

@tangentline Wow I could not have handled that little amount of sleep! And I also have dread when it comes to writing essays.

@tangentline If I was in your situations only two things would have occurred 1) me not going to school and sleeping all day or 2) not doing those essays. Kudos to you man!
