I’m saying its unfair for me because at another school if you have a bad quarter you can make up for it the next and average it out, no harm no foul. At my school if I have a bad quarter sucks for me it goes on the transcript forever. Even if I get a good grade next time the bad one is always there. I get two grades for every class.

C for both semesters of French II. C for both semesters of honors biology/chemistry… i dont regret taking french because now i am in french 4 and have an A, but i DO regret taking the honors class, definitely not worth it.

Yes, I’ve gotten a C for a class. Two in high school actually from what I can remember which I’m still embarrassed about since I’m usually an A and B student. The first C was first semester of freshman year in English, but I was going through a lot of personal problems freshman year. The 2nd time I’ve ever gotten a C was second semester senior year in my Advanced Algebra and Trigonometry class. It was brutal as hell! No matter how hard I tried, I could never get my grade into the A range. So towards the end of May last year with graduation approaching and already knowing I was going to college, I was just over it. I did everything I could on that final, but my B slipped into a C+.

@silverturtle - Thanks for reporting him.

@fitnessmodel - I sincerely hope you’re ■■■■■■■■. And if you aren’t, then I’m not sorry to say that you aren’t nearly as witty as you seem to think you are.

No, I’ve never received anything other than an A in an academic class. I would honestly be ashamed if I had gotten a B or lower…not for the sake of getting an A, but because it is so ridiculously easy.

Lol, the only C I ever got in a class was in 2nd grade. It was Music. All my other academic classes for that year were high A’s. The funny thing is, I’m quite proficient at the piano now and consider myself to have a good sense of rhythm and overall musicality Currently trying to train myself to eventually develop perfect pitch…

no, i’ve never gotten a C :)

I just realized I didn’t even answer the original question in my post…sorry about that. =P

Fortunately, I’ve never received a C, although if I had received a grade for my first years of piano…a C might be too generous.

@fledgling - It’s possible to learn that? I thought perfect pitch was genetic…

In 6th grade but that was it. It doesn’t really count though.

I’ve come close though, especially in spanish 3…oh how i despise that subject. I’m usually an A student with occasional Bs

I got an F in Algebra 2/Trig Honors, and then retook it and got an A.

I got Cs both semesters of AP Chemistry. Still in the top 10 out of a class of ~600 going into junior year.

Are my chances at HYPSM shot?

i got a C+ in honors physics my first semester of freshman year…

I think so. At least, I’ve been making progress on it :o Or I might be just weird; who knows?
